2013 Stowe Country Club Memberships

Hello Everyone,

While in Boston last weekend attending the National Golf Expo, I was watching golf from Florida and day-dreaming about warmth. Across the bottom of the TV screen was a warning for another nor'easter that was heading our way. The good news is we've officially turned a corner. Happy Spring! I guess Punxsutawney Phil got it wrong. We received over a foot of snow at the club yesterday and its still snowing.

This is the email you have all been waiting for. I’m excited to announce our Membership Offerings for this summer.

Click this link to download our 2013 Membership Rates. We’ve worked diligently creating value in our memberships. Here at the Stowe Country Club we strive to create lasting relationships, which is why I’m happy to announce that returning members will now save 25% off our rack rates in all membership categories. That equals about $500 in savings per person on all of our adult memberships.

Like last year, we are offering anyone who has a winter pass to Stowe Mountain Resort a 15% off savings. We’ve extended this 15% off discount to any new member as long as they join before May 1st. If you know anyone who you feel might be interested in becoming a member of SCC please forward this email to them using the line in the footer below or give them my contact information so they can contact me directly.

All of our memberships include unlimited golf and range balls. We offer pricing for six categories: Family, Spouse, Individual (30-64), Senior (65>), Young Adult (18-29), and Junior (10-17). We are again including in each membership, a card that gives each member ten 50% off discount vouchers to use for guests. Many of you commented last year that this was a huge benefit and a lot of you took advantage of the program. Golf carts and lockers remain an ala carte upgrade at the same rate. For complete details, click HERE to download our 2013 Membership applications.

New for 2013:

Here’s an exciting opportunity open only to SCC members. Purchase a 4-pack of rounds to The Stowe Mountain Club for $500*, the accompanied Member guest rate. These rounds are non-transferable, but you may bring a guest at the rack rate for Lodge guests. *Plus tax.

Also new for 2013 is a “Social Membership”. Details are being ironed out as we speak, but the concept is this: For $250, a person can join as a Social Member and attend any non-golfing member function. This will include event awards luncheons or dinners, our monthly member social dinner, and other non-golfing programming. I am putting together a number of non-golfing programming for this summer; so far, we hope to organize a weekly book club, a weekly rec-path walking group, an epicurean group that will dine out at local establishments, a tennis group, and even a weekly trivia night. I will be looking for additional ideas and volunteers to help make some of these things happen. I’d love to learn how to play bridge?

Be sure to follow us on Facebook and you can review the Calendar of events on my Blog HERE.

If you have any questions; please, do not hesitate to contact me.
