5/30 Memorial Day Scramble:  9:00AM Shotgun. The fee for this fun scramble is $10 for members, $60 for non-members. The fee includes golf with cart, practice facility, and awards luncheon.

5/31 Vermont Div III High School Sectionals: Tee times 10:00AM – 1:00PM.

June marks the begging of our Leagues: Monday night is Women’s Night, Tuesday Night is the TNT (Tuesday night Twilight) League, and Thursday Night is Men’s night. There are also informal member groups for men Sr’s Mon, Wed, and Friday morning, Ladies Thursday morning, and a Sunday morning quota game. Look for additional details soon.

6/2 Vermont Golf Association (VGA) Men’s State Day: Tee times between 8AM & 12PM; must sign up online with the VGA. Contact Mark Plummer, our Club Representative with questions.

6/4 Member Social: Perhaps the most fun you can have holding a golf club. These events are 9 hole shotguns at 4:30 followed by an awards supper. A raucous time is a guaranteed. You never know what kind of twist we will come up with, but you don’t want to miss it.

6/7 National Women’s Golf Day: Stowe is inviting golfers from all over Vermont to engage and encourage women and girls to play the game of golf. This is an opportunity for any girl or woman to try golf for the first time or the fiftieth time in a fun, non-intimidating environment.  This event creates critical mass through a collaborative effort and allows women anywhere to either go into a golf retail location or visit a golf course to enjoy a few hours of golf while networking and socializing.

We will be hosting complimentary Women’s Demonstration from 4 - 4:45PM and followed by an instructional clinic from 4:45 - 6:00PM at the Stowe Country Club Practice Facility. Following the clinic, we will be gathering in the clubhouse to learn more about golfing at Stowe, meet your fellow friends and make plans for your next round together, and to take advantage of a private Women’s Only Golf Shop Sale.

Also be sure to check on upcoming Vermont PGA Pro Am’s. We have a terrific team of golf professionals who have all won multiple tournaments each summer; let’s dominate the circuit.

This is only the beginning. June is full of events including our weekly member leagues for men & women, the Women’s Classic, Manufacturers Demo Day & The Kirkwood Invitational. Details to follow.
