The marquee event of the season is drawing near. Your annual Member-Guest is scheduled for the weekend of July 23-24 and all members are encouraged to participate, no matter your skill level or competitive inclination. It is really a terrific event that is all about fun competition and enjoying the course and club with your golfing friends.

Entry Fee is $200 per team

Friday July 22nd


Optional practice round and skins game competition. Make your tee times throughout the day.

Saturday July 23th

7:00 AM           Golf Shop and Practice Tee Open
11:00 AM         Qualifying Round Tee Times Begin

Format:                        Four-Ball Stroke Play

Women play from the Red tees
Men play from the White tees

The Better-Ball of Partners is scored for each hole. Teams will qualify into flights based on their team score. The flights will be as follows:

               Goat Flight – Eight Lowest Qualifying Scores
               National Flight – Qualifying Scores 9 through 16
               Liftline Flight – Qualifying Scores 17 through 24
               Starr Flight – Qualifying Score 25 through 32

6:00 – 7:00 PM       Cocktail Hour at Kirkwood's Pub
7:00 PM                 Dinner

Sunday July 24th

7:00 AM           Golf Shop and Practice Tee Open
9:00 AM           Shotgun Start for all Flights

Format:           Four-Ball Stroke Play; Stableford Scoring

All play for the women will be from the Red tees.
Men who qualified into the Goat Flight will play from the Black tees.
All men in National, Liftline, and Starr Flights will play from the White tees.

Stableford Points
Dbl Eagle = 10 points        Eagle = 8 points      Birdie = 5 points
Par = 3 points   Bogey = 2 points       Dbl Bogey = 1 point

Anything worse than a Double Bogey is awarded 0 points, please pick up and proceed to the next hole.

Additional Points for Sunday
Seeds within each flight will be awarded points to begin their day based on their seed. The number will be added to their total at the completion of their round as a result of their qualifying position. The points awarded are as follows:

#1 Seed – 6 points      #2 Seed – 5 points   #3 Seed – 4 points
#4 Seed – 3 points      #5 Seed – 2 points   #6 Seed – 2 points
#7 Seed – 1 point        #8 Seed – 1 point

Closest to the Hole**: Hole #2, #4, #8, #10, and #15

Prizes: Prizes will be awarded to the First, Second, and Third Place Teams.

Ties:  In the event of a tie a scorecard playoff will be used to decide ties first using the lowest score for holes 10 – 18, then holes 13-18, then holes 16-18.
