PGA Club Professional ChampionshipFrom June 18th to the 21st, Stowe Country Club’s director of golf, Ron Philo Jr. will play for a chance to win the PGA Professional Championship, at the Sunriver Resort in beautiful Sunriver, Oregon. A past champion of the event, Philo will be among 312 golfers teeing up at one of the country’s most scenic golf destinations which features the nationally acclaimed Crosswater Club and gorgeous Meadows Golf Course. These 36 holes are no stranger to this event, as Sunriver hosted the Championship in 2001, 2007, and 2013. The stunning venue, originally designed by Bob Cupp, will feature a 36-hole cut to the low 90 scorers in the first section, followed by a 54-hole cut to 70 players prior to Wednesday’s final round. The Championship will distribute a total purse of more than $1.7 million, which will be awarded in both the Section and PGA Professional Championships. Community Golf DayLonging to play the private Stowe Mountain Club golf course? The time has come. The Stowe Mountain Club is opening the course to anyone that wants experience the greatest collection of short par 4’s in golf at the first Stowe Community Open House, this Wednesday, June 21st. Don’t miss the opportunity to play one of the most challenging, visually stunning courses on the east coast. There will be a barbecue lunch hosted by the Stowe Mountain Lodge at the Cottage starting at 11:30am, followed by a 1pm shotgun start to kick off the event. The 50th annual Joe Kirkwood Memorial TournamentThe event scheduled for June 22 -25 is our marquee event of the summer and honors Stowe icon Joe Kirkwood. The tournament is open to golfers of all ability levels and there’s still space available if you’re looking to play but have yet to register. As just about every Stowe Country Club golfer knows, Joe Kirkwood was Stowe's first Head Golf Professional. But what you may not know is that he came to Stowe to go fly fishing fish with NBC broadcasting legend, Lowell Thomas.  When he saw the golf club he did what any true gentleman golfer would do, he went to meet the pro and say hello. However, he quickly learned there was no pro, and as the story goes, Kirkwood filled the void and made Stowe his home.

Q&APhones– As many of you know, we’re transitioning to a new call process.  Going forward, all golf related calls will be routed through to the Stowe Mountain Club Concierge, who will be responsible for booking tee times.  The goal of this new process is to reduce the number of incoming calls received at the golf shop, allowing the staff to better serve the in store customers as well as guests looking to reserve a tee time.  We’re committed to providing everyone with the personal attention they deserve.

Tee Times:  Pass holders can book tee times 14 days in advance through Stowe Mountain Club Concierge.  Please only reserve a tee time for the number of people playing, and if you need to cancel please call and let us know. Stowe Country Club requests 24-hour notice for all cancellations.

On Friday, Saturday & Sunday mornings, the Club reserves a maximum three tee times per hour for passholder play until 24 hours in advance.  General resort and public play is reserved on the othe…
Last call for Women's Golf Day!This event celebrates women and girls playing golf and learning the skills that last a lifetime. Women’s Golf Day is only a few days away taking place on Tuesday, June 6 from 4 PM – 8 PM. We have over 40 ladies signed up and we'd love your support! June 6, 2017 | 4PM to 8PM Register HERE
Men's Night began Thursday and the 13 week league starts at 5:30 PM. Call to register.

Please make plans to join us on Saturday, June 10th for the first Social of the summer. 4:30, 9 hole shotgun followed by dinner. Deadline to sign up is Wednesday by 5 PM so that we can provide an adequate count.
