PGA Club Professional Championship

From June 18th to the 21st, Stowe Country Club’s director of golf, Ron Philo Jr. will play for a chance to win the PGA Professional Championship, at the Sunriver Resort in beautiful Sunriver, Oregon. A past champion of the event, Philo will be among 312 golfers teeing up at one of the country’s most scenic golf destinations which features the nationally acclaimed Crosswater Club and gorgeous Meadows Golf Course. These 36 holes are no stranger to this event, as Sunriver hosted the Championship in 2001, 2007, and 2013. The stunning venue, originally designed by Bob Cupp, will feature a 36-hole cut to the low 90 scorers in the first section, followed by a 54-hole cut to 70 players prior to Wednesday’s final round. The Championship will distribute a total purse of more than $1.7 million, which will be awarded in both the Section and PGA Professional Championships.
